At The Lopez Law Group, we are committed to supporting our local community through our work and by taking part in local events and causes. In addition to representing clients and their families in the Rio Grande Valley, we aim to sponsor local events and activities that help foster culture and community. That’s why we were proud to support the Texas Drive-in RGV concert series in June.
Taking place in the parking grounds of the Hidalgo Texas Payne Arena, this unique and exciting summer event was designed to give fans a live-show experience while still maintaining safe social distance. The concert series was a blast, featuring nationally renowned recording artists Eli Young Band and Kevin Fowler and local favorites Mirna Villanueva Diaz, Cassie Sordia, Vero Mingo, and Dora Pena de Venegas. There was an incredible turnout of excited Texans ready to hear some great tunes and enjoy the outdoors. Check out footage of the event here!
After all the time we’ve spent cooped up indoors, it reminded us that even though we have to be apart right now, we’re still a great community of strong, resilient Texans.
We owe a big thank you to Hidalgo Texas Payne Arena and the Texas Drive-in RGV staff for organizing and hosting the event. And of course, a huge round of applause goes to the performers who made it such a special weekend! While the Payne Arena has postponed future events due to the mayor’s latest safety orders, keep checking their Facebook page for new information. There are sure to be plenty of fun events coming as soon as it’s safe.
